Kris Reynolds, CCA, joined American Farmland Trust in 2017, managing Midwest programs focused on sustainable farming practices, farmland protection, and water quality improvement. With 15 years of experience as a Resource Conservationist and Cover Crop Specialist, he collaborates with farmers and landowners. Kris, a 5th-generation farmer, actively incorporates soil health practices, such as cover crops and no-till, on his corn and soybean farm in Nokomis, Illinois. Holding a B.S. in Agronomy and Ag Business from Illinois State University, he is also a 4R Nutrient Management and Sustainability Specialist.
