Webinars

ILSoyAdvisor hosts webinars throughout the year on topics ranging from soil health and specific weed management, to improving profitability and ROI. Each webinar is worth one or more continuing education units (CEUs) for Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs). View our upcoming webinars and past webinar recaps below. Upcoming Webinar:

Navigating Soil Health Tests: Principles, Interpretation and Utility”

Join Dr. Andrew Margenot and Heidi Allen Asensio from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for a comprehensive webinar on soil health testing. The session will cover common test types, interpretation of results, and their application in management decisions. Examples will be illustrated from Illinois cropping systems, including multi-site soil health trials by University of Illinois supported by Illinois Soybean Association.

FEATURED WEBINAR

Combating Soybean Cyst Nematode With Advancements In Genomic and Breeding Technologies

Soybean cyst nematode (SCN) is a devastating pathogen in soybeans. Researchers are now able to watch the genomes of worm populations change in response to their soybean hosts. Information on the SCN genome as well as new strategies for utilizing native genes to combat SCN that has evolved to overcome current genetic resistance mechanisms such as those found in PI 88788 and Peking are presented. Presenters include Dr. Matthew Hudson, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Dr. Andrew Scaboo, University of Missouri
