Dr. Jason P. Bond, PhD, is Professor of Plant Biology in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Physical Sciences at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Dr. Bond’s research and teaching program focuses on disease management in row crops in the Midwest. Dr. Bond is a second-generation plant pathologist, and he was raised on a watermelon farm in southeastern Louisiana. He received his Ph.D. in Plant Health from Louisiana State University in 1999.
