This presentation was recorded at the 2024 Soybean Summit on February 1st in Champaign, IL.

Helping provide answers to farmers’ soybean production challenges and questions is a priority of the Illinois Soybean Association. ISA staff collaborate with researchers to tailor research studies based on farmer inquiries, covering topics ranging from conservation practices and in-season agronomy to pest management. In this session, Jennifer Jones, CCA,  shares recent findings from checkoff funded research conducted by experts around the state. Participants will discover how they can influence the focus of upcoming research studies.

Jennifer Jones is the Research Agronomist for the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA). She works on behalf of Illinois soybean farmers in the development and the implementation of conservation agricultural research and outreach programs. She supports research efforts and helps communicate both in-field and edge-of-field research and validation studies to ISA’s farmer audiences, leads demonstration of conservation agriculture practices, and raises awareness of best management and continuous improvement practices for conservation agriculture in Illinois.
