How should we allocate funding for research on soybean cyst nematode (SCN)? With breeders uncovering new genetics, a top priority should be swiftly incorporating these genetics into commercially available lines. Furthermore, we must explore additional scientific approaches that complement breeding initiatives. Collaborative efforts involving commodity associations, corporations, and universities play a crucial role in funding SCN research.
