Marty Chilvers earned his Bachelor’s of Agricultural Science degree with honors and Ph.D. from the University of Tasmania, Australia, with subsequent Post-doctoral training at Washington State University. Dr. Chilvers began his position with Michigan State University in 2008 where he leads a field crop pathology program, researching plant diseases and management solutions.

A native of Rio, IL, Kelsey earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2017 where she double majored in Agricultural Communications and Broadcast Journalism.
