Crops are starting to suffer from lack of rainfall in many of the surrounding counties. With the exception of no precipitation, most all fields have great emergence and are off to a good start. Wheat is 10-20 days from harvest. Very hot, sunny, dry. 85+ degree days with no rain in sight. No precipitation for many days, no precipitation predicted for next 10 days. Extremely dry. 7-10 days away from disaster. Not enough moisture to germinate newly seeded crops.
