The CCA Conference will be held the first day, Wednesday, December 6. Speakers include Sally Fils; TFI Ivan Dozier, NRCS; Mary Tate, Kellogg Co.; Warren Goetsch and Doug Owens, IDoA; Jean Payne, IFCA; Heidi Peterson, IPNI; and University of Illinois faculty Emerson Nafziger, Laura Christianson and Gary Schnitkey.

The Ag Masters Conference on December 7 takes a more in-depth look at agronomic topics. At the Ag Masters event attendees can choose from 3 to 4 different topics during seven sessions throughout the day. A dozen different speakers will be presenting on nitrogen issues, neonicotinoids, fungicide resistance, the use of sulfur, cover crops, drones and weed resistance. Attendees can register for either or both conferences online or at the door. There is a separate rate for Certified Crop Advisers and for individuals who are not certified and want to increase their agronomic knowledge.

The conferences provide CCAs with an opportunity of the year to earn Continuing Education Credits towards their biennial requirement of 40 hours of continuing education.
