COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH

Research is key to gaining deeper insights into the variables that affect soybean production. We collaborate with researchers across Illinois to fund research projects that help identify solutions to your toughest production challenges and questions.

Research Geared to Solve Production Challenges

Each growing season brings new and complex challenges to soybean production in Illinois. From extreme weather conditions to new and changing pest pressures to herbicide resistance, farmers face tremendous obstacles every year. The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is responding by funding innovative research that often spans multiple years to evaluate ever-changing conditions and identify solutions that can work on your farm.

Learn more about the research projects we’re funding by checking out the research categories below. If there’s a project or two that interest you, you can connect with the researchers behind the projects in Meet the Researchers.
