YIELD CHALLENGE

The Yield Challenge

Illinois is divided into 4 regions. Producers will compete in their region for the top yield. The first-place winner of each region will receive $2,000, and the second- place winner will receive $500.

Double-Crop Challenge

Growers who double-crop soybeans after wheat or another crop harvested that same season can now submit a yield entry to compete in a statewide Double-Crop Challenge. The first-place statewide double-crop challenge winner will receive $2,000 and the second-place statewide double-crop challenge winner will receive $500.

In addition to their prize money, the highest yield winners for the state from both the statewide Yield Challenge and the Double-Crop Challenge will receive registration, airfare and lodging for the 2020 Commodity Classic in San Antonio, Texas and will be honored at the ILSoyAdvisor Soybean Summit.

All participants across all challenges that produce over 100-bushels per acre will become members of the 100-Bushel Club. They will receive a commemorative item and have their name displayed as part of the 100-Bushel Club on the ILSoyAdvisor website.

Every entry into both the Yield Challenge and Double-Crop Challenge must be verified by an official ISA Yield Challenge Verifier. All winners and 100-Bushel Club members will be honored as part of the annual ILSoyAdvisor Soybean Summit.
