U.S. livestock and poultry farmers can meet the growing global demand for high-quality protein. The Illinois Soybean Association checkoff program supports U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) and U.S.A. Poultry and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC) work to keep our animal agriculture industry – and top consumers – growing.

ISA funds projects that promote U.S. pork and poultry, breaking down barriers between U.S. products and international consumers. Many countries with ISA-funded projects are buying more U.S. pork. And although the 2015 bird flu outbreak in the U.S. decreased poultry exports, work is underway to regain those markets and open new ones.
